Until now, Pan’Artisan concentrated mainly on hand-finished pizza bases, dough balls and speciality Italian breads.
Richard Jansen, managing director, Pan’Artisan, said; “For many years we have been supplying our pizza bases to Numero Uno Foods, which has an excellent track record distributing topped pizzas to the school meals sector. Pan’Artisan also has strong relations in this market supplying pizza bases so it made sense to streamline both our production capabilities and establish a partnership.
“Pan’Artisan will continue to supply its full range of high quality breads and bases to the wider foodservice marketplace but we want to develop more bespoke items in conjunction with our local authority customers. This association with Numero Uno will enable that and will see the development of some exciting, innovative products in the future.”
