LoveSeitan continues its rollout of more plant-based products like soy-free vegan pepperoni, which is suitable for pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more.
The meat-free alternative aims to help caterers meet demands, as there is an estimated 3.5 million vegans in the UK and up to 22 million ‘flexitarians’. ‘Flexitarians’ are those who want to reduce their consumption of dairy and meat.
LoveSeitan is offering pepperoni made from seitan, flavoured with chilli, smoked paprika, garlic and onion. The meat-less charcuterie can be supplied frozen or chilled in sausage form or sliced.
The pepperoni has an ‘unrivalled’ texture and a flavour making it more ‘versatile’ than other traditional vegan meat such as tofu and tempeh.
Caterers can add it on to a vegan cheese and tomato pizza with red onions for a ‘guilt-free’, ‘fuss-free’ 100% plant based pizza.
