Suitable for vegans the uncoated burger is made from pea protein and contains shiitake mushrooms, herbs and spices. The product is free from the 14 major allergens and free of all artificial colours, preservatives and additives.
The Shiitake Mushroom Burger achieved a perfect score for its ease of use as well as scoring highly for taste and texture. The Craft Guild of Chefs said: “Really good flavour loved the bite of mushrooms through the mix. it would work really well with a mushroom ketchup. One of the best vegan burgers I have tasted if I’m being honest, it’s better than a product I use here at the moment.”
