Abstract
French bakery Brioche Pasquier has added four new shapes to its biscotte range, ideal for caterers looking for ‘versatile’ festive party food.

Between them, the latest additions suit a “whole host of party foods” including canapés, dipping toasts, breakfast and dessert, and soup/salad toppings.

The Brioche Pasquier biscotte range now comprises:

  • Mini Toasts - biscotte squares, ideal for canapés. Toppings can be sweet or savoury (such as paté or brie and chutney)
  • Petites Baguettes - Long and thin with a flat top, ideal for dipping. Baba Ganoush, hummus and baked Camembert work well
  • Grillettines Briochée – wider and a little thicker, the grillettine is made from brioche instead of bread, which gives it a slightly sweeter taste. Ideal with a cheeseboard and sweet toppings
  • Croutons - cubed version, good with salads or garnishing soups
