The ‘most influential’ people in public sector catering represents the industry’s leading figures based on their ability to represent the concerns of people working in the sector, as well as their capacity to instigate change.
All of those on the 2024 list have been invited to the House of Commons on January 30th when they will get the chance to air their views on key industry issues at a roundtable discussion. Out of it will come the key action points for the Public Sector Catering Alliance, now chaired by Jayne Jones, to work on in 2025.
There are 13 new faces around the table who will offer fresh ideas and thinking to inform the discussion on a range of topics including health, allergens, the food system and procurement which are relevant across the entire industry.
David Foad, editor of Public Sector Catering Magazine, said: "My congratulations to all of those named on this year’s list, the work you do is inspirational for so many people working in foodservice and helps to foster a spirit of collaboration within the industry."
