Abstract
The City of Manchester Stadium's hospitality, conference and events team are putting their best foot forward as they get set for the BUPA 10k Great Manchester Run.
Eight runners began their training in January and regularly teamed up for after work training sessions – completing laps around the iconic City of Manchester Stadium and warm up exercises at the Manchester City Football Club pitch.
With less than two weeks to go, the group are now upping the pace and pushing themselves even further so they can take on the 10K challenge along with 33,000 other runners on the day.
All of those taking part from the Stadium are raising money for charities of their choice.
Sarah Scott, PA to City's head of sales, said: "It's been great training as a team because we are able to motivate each other, and if someone is struggling we can encourage and support them. We've really enjoyed going out running together, but we are now looking forward to crossing the finish line."
