Abstract
With National Afternoon Tea Week set to dominate the country next week (13-19 August), one Yorkshire pub has given us serious food for thought with the launch of its Yorkshire pudding filled treats.

To celebrate the occasion, Dearne Valley Farm will be filling Yorkshire puddings with both sweet and savoury classic afternoon tea treats.

These will include: egg mayonnaise; cheese and pickle; as well as a Victoria sponge filled pub.

General manager Emma Hodgson commented: “Our Yorkshire puddings are a firm favourite on our carvery menu, so for National Afternoon Tea Week, we wanted to do something different and give our humble pud a whole new look.

“We look forward to inviting guests to try our new creation and are sure that it’s going to be a huge hit with new and regular guests alike.”
