YO! Sushi launches YO! Breakfast at Heathrow T3

5th Feb 2009 - 00:00
Abstract
Conveyor-belt Japanese restaurant YO! Sushi has launched a new breakfast offering at Heathrow Terminal 3.
Available from the 9th February, the menu will feature a wide selection of Japanese inspired dishes including Smoked Mackerel Onigri, Sausage & Quail Egg Yakitori and Green Tea Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg. Catering for those after more traditional breakfast fare, YO! Breakfast will also offer customers staples such as fresh fruit, granola and smoothies. YO! Sushi's development chef, Mike Lewis has been working on the offer for the past two months after a recent trip to Japan to research the latest food trends. Customers will be able to help themselves to breakfast dishes from the rotating conveyor-belt on a specially designed Yellow Plate and order hot food and drinks via airline-style call buttons. Chris Annetts, head of category for food and beverage at BAA said: "Breakfast is the meal most eaten at our airports so this exclusive offering represents a significant addition to our food and beverage offer. We believe YO! Breakfast will have real appeal to both the time-pressed customer and those who want to sit and enjoy a meal before the journey ahead."
