The newly named business will comprise of three divisions, Melitta UK (Retail/C&C, Bacofoil and Melitta), Cofresco Foodservice (Wrapmaster and Caterwrap) and Cofresco Operations UK.
The move has been made in response to Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte GmbH & Co – a subsidiary company of German firm Melitta – integrating the business following the purchase of Wrap Film Systems Ltd in October 2015 by Melitta.
Commenting on the rename, chief executive of Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte GmbH & Co. KG, Pieter van Halewijn said: “We are delighted to maintain our leading market position in the UK Foodservice market and excited to continue our global expansion, as well as the development of our Wrapmaster brand through Cofresco Foodservice.”

Paul Feery, formerly commercial director of Wrap Film Systems Ltd, is now country manager UK & Ireland and will lead retail division Melitta UK, part of Melitta Sales Europe.
