Abstract
Rachel Barnes has joined Bennett Hay as business development manager with the responsibility for driving new catering and reception services opportunities.

She will oversee Bennett Hay’s focus on client acquisition by concentrating on London’s corporate community and key real estate stakeholders. Barnes joins the independently owned hospitality operator after nearly a decade with The Good Eating Company.

Speaking about her new role, Barnes said: “Bennett Hay’s core value of creating a community is so apparent; from my onboarding, the regular updates we receive to the camaraderie everyone at every site exudes. I’m excited at the empowerment and entrepreneurial leeway this new chapter in my career is giving me.”

Bennett Hay, which was founded in 2010, places ‘significant’ ownership on its impact on the planet, the communities it serves and its supply partners.

Zoë Watts, managing director of Bennett Hay, commented: "Rachel is a fantastic asset to the company due to her proven abilities, tenacity and engaging personality. She has an incredible foresight on workplace needs and this is balanced with a keen eye for bringing high street trends in to the employee experience. Rachel’s fitted in seamlessly as we gear up for a busy period tendering and driving awareness of our flair to create exceptional work environments for London’s business community.”
