Winterhalter raises £500 for Hospitality Action
Abstract
Warewashing brand, Winterhalter raised £500 for Hospitality Action while celebrating the unsung heroes of the kitchen brigade.

Winterhalter encouraged kitchen porters to celebrate National KP Day by tweeting photos of themselves using the hashtag #kpday and for every photo posted they agreed to donate £1 to Hospitality Action.

Mark Lewis, chief executive of hospitality Action, said: “Hospitality Action can only be as supportive of its beneficiaries as our supporters are generous. We’re therefore hugely grateful that Winterhalter has this year chosen us as the nominated charity for its annual KP Day celebration.

“Thanks to supporters like our friends at Winterhalter, we’re able to transform the lives of many hospitality people.”

Hospitality Action is a charity that supports the UK’s Hospitality industry workers when they find themselves in a crisis. A £100 donation can buy basic clothing and £250 can buy baby items for new mothers.

Winterhalter also hosts a competition for kitchen porters to give caterers the opportunity to show their appreciation for the vital work that kitchen porters do.
