From foraging and farm tours of this famous venue where festival-goers get to see first-hand its holistic and self-sustaining approach, to demos by leading chefs and industry experts, the one-day event is set to be a major draw. Tickets usually cost £99 +VAT for Craft Guild members and £199 +VAT for non-members.
The winner of the two tickets for the trade-only event on Wednesday, September 24, will get to see Asian cooking masters Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala enlighten chefs on ‘Keeping it in the Family’.
Chef Paul Cunningham will be taking over River Cottage’s yurt, and Gill Meller, who appears on Channel 4’s River Cottage series as the group’s head chef, will be involved in the day.
A large farmers’ market, meanwhile, will feature a mix of international suppliers and local producers showcasing their latest culinary innovations and fresh produce.
