New contract for Wilson Vale
Abstract
Ashby-based caterer, Wilson Vale, has gained a catering contract with NewDay, one of the UK’s largest issuers of credit cards.

Under a three-year contract worth £1.6million over the life of the contract, the independent caterers started the new service on 18th August at the company’s operations centre in Leeds.

A team of 11 catering staff now provides a breakfast and lunch service to 750 NewDay staff on site. As with all of Wilson Vale’s contracts, the emphasis is on fresh, locally sourced, seasonal food made by craft-trained chefs.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder and managing director of Wilson Vale, said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to provide great food to such a dynamic organisation and look forward to building relationships with our new customers.”

In addition, for the second year running, Carolyne Vale, co-founder of Wilson Vale, has been named one of the top 200 most influential people in Leicestershire by the Leicester Mercury  newspaper.   She has appeared on the listing alongside leading figures from business, the public sector, media and the entertainment sectors, including Sir David Attenborough, TV presenter and naturalist, and Gary Lineker, sports presenter.
