A one year rolling contract with global media communications group, Dentsu Aegis Network, as its UK corporate headquarters at Regent’s Place, London, began at the end of January. A team of 11 Wilson Vale staff now cater for 1,400 on-site staff, with a breakfast, lunch, all day grab and go and extensive hospitality offering available.
Andrew Wilson, co-founder and managing director of Wilson Vale, said: ”This is a significant business gain for Wilson Vale and a strategically important one as it strengthens our presence in the London market.
“The fact that Wilson Vale is an owner-managed business with a very transparent and ethical approach was a key factor in our appointment and we look forward to working in close partnership with our new client during this exciting period of growth for both organisations.”
Wilson Vale also commenced a catering contract on February 2nd with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at its Coventry headquarters, where a team of three Wilson Vale staff provides its hospitality service to 250 RICS employees.
Andrew Wilson said: ”The RICS is a very welcome addition to our portfolio, particularly as it is our first contract in Coventry and it is on home ground, just 25 miles from our own corporate headquarters in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
“Our new client was keen to have a local catering partner with good operational support and a fresh food ethos. We are delighted that we continue to attract clients who have a strong focus on enhancing value and quality.
“We have consistently demonstrated that we have the ability to compete with the very best in our market, and after thirteen years in business we have an extremely strong record for retaining and developing our clients and our people alike.
“We remain a relatively small organisation in a large market place but we are gaining a strong reputation and this is impacting positively on our business.”
Wilson Vale’s audited year-end figures (December 2014) show that the caterer reached its budgeted turnover figure of £20million for 2014, an 11% increase on the previous year. Projected annual turnover for 2015 is £22million.
