Creed Foodservice donates record £80,000 to charity initiatives
Abstract
Creed Foodservice, ‘one of the UK’s leading food wholesalers and catering suppliers’, has donated a record £80,000 to local and national charity initiatives over the past 12 months.

The money has been raised through a number of activities, with over 500 volunteering hours in 2023 dedicated to charitable projects and events.

Creed employees took part in sponsored bike rides, runs and hikes across the year, raising money for end-of-life charity, Sue Ryder through Leckhampton Court Hospice in Cheltenham. In December 2023, Creed worked alongside Trinity Church in Cheltenham cooking a Christmas lunch for over 50 vulnerable people who otherwise would have gone without.

Support was also given to Gloucester charity Venture who run an innovative food van that travels the county cooking meals for those children and their families experiencing holiday hunger. The business also runs a staff lottery which regularly generates around £700 per month for its partner charities.

Creed has also continued to support Hospitality Action, which offers vital assistance to hospitality workers experiencing financial hardship. Over thirty Creed staff volunteered to take part in a virtual race across the world, which saw them walk, run, cycle, row, skip, hop and jump their way virtually across a number of continents in a joint effort to travel 75,000 miles in just eleven days across the summer.
