The White’s Bakery Biscuit Competition, Ready, Steady, BAKE is open to all schools throughout the UK. Entries can be made by the school itself or by an individual pupil working at home with parents or siblings. The entry deadline for the competition is Friday 16th June 2023.
The idea of the competition is to design a new piece of home bake that you would like to see in your school.
The winning entry will then be added to the White’s range of home-baked items. Each entry must include a recipe, drawing, name of product as well as the name of the entrant and the school they attend.
The winner will be invited to the LACA Main event show on Thursday, July 6th July. The winning school will have the chance to order a week’s worth of home-baked items from White’s Bakery (up to a value of £2,000). There will be a White’s Bakery Apron and a trip to Alton Towers for the winning child.
Entry criteria:
- A single home-baked item either cookie, flapjack, shortbread, or gingerbread
- Between 80-100g
- No nuts to be used
- Low sugar, low fat, and low salt
- No chocolate or inclusions such as sweets can be used
- It can’t be dipped or covered in chocolate either
