Abstract
Bloomberg has discovered the fast food restaurants that some of the world’s top chefs just can’t get enough of, and some of the results were surprising.
Heston Blumenthal, whose restaurant The Fat Duck was recently named the best in the UK, chose Five Guys for their burgers and milkshakes.
Tom Sellers of Restaurant Story, London preferred Nando’s for its simple, tasty approach and because ‘everyone loves chicken’.
Gordon Ramsay protégé Clare Smyth favoured PizzaExpress, whilst Angela Hartnett, who admitted to being bored with London’s burger scene, was enamoured by Byron’s offer.
Nuno Mendes, who heads up celeb hotspot Chiltern Firehouse chose three-strong pizza chain Homeslice, whereas Simon Rogan, went east with his choice, favouring Wasabi because he ‘can’t say no to a katsu curry’.
