Westminster Nutrition Forum to discuss policy priorities at London seminar

Abstract
The Westminster Nutrition Forum taking place on January 29th will discuss the policy priorities for improving nutrition in health and care: catering, clinical standards, regulation and procurement.

Amongst the subjects up for discussion are the healthcare challenges and economic impact of malnutrition as well as looking at case studies on promoting excellence in nutritional care on the frontline of care, raising quality of food in a hospital environment and improving nutrition for inpatients with diabetes.

The seminar will include keynote addresses from nutrition specialists; including, Marinos Elia, professor of Clinical Nutrition & Metabolism, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, Southampton; Dr Mike Stroud, president elect, British Association for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition; Caroline Lecko, Patient Safety Lead, Patient Safety Domain, Nursing Directorate, NHS England; Liz Evans, chair, National Nurses Nutrition Group and Rachel Repper, trading director, NHS Supply Chain.
