Abstract
Equipment provided Welbilt has made two appointments within its marketing team, to “help grow sales and profitability.”

In her newly created role as regional manager, marketing communications and services, Emma Gardner – who has worked for Welbilt for 10 years - will be responsible for the planning, production and delivery of all internal and external marketing communication programmes within the company’s EMEA region.

Working alongside sub-regional marketing coordinators for Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East, Gardner will be “at the forefront of each region’s campaigns, promotions and social media presence” when she commences 1 April.

As well as this, Shane O’Neil - field marketing manager for Garland and Cleveland - will now also support Gardner and vice president of Marketing EMEA, John Rourke, on the EMEA marketing strategy and annual strategic business plan process.

Rourke said: “Our EMEA marketing and communication functions are hugely important to us, and it’s imperative that we have the right structure behind us to ensure that we are delivering the very best content in order to help further grow sales and profitability in the EMEA region.

“With the appointment of Emma and Shane to the EMEA team, we are bringing significant expertise and skills to the team. I am certain that we will go from strength to strength in this area as our regional and sub-regional teams work together to create a consistent marketing strategy.

“We’d like to congratulate both Emma and Shane in their new roles and wish them every success!”
