Using his experience of selling a range of catering products in various sectors of the hospitality industry, he will focus on building Winterhalter’s presence and growth in the market throughout the East, and as far north as Newcastle. Mort has spent his entire working life in the catering equipment industry.
Prior to his new role Mort worked at Bunzl for 28 years. He held various roles including national account manager supporting public sector customers such as the Ministries of Defence and Justice, as well as the NHS.
Commenting on his appointment, Mort said: “I grew up in this industry selling commercial catering equipment to both end users and dealers. Winterhalter is a business and product range I have long admired and championed, so I’m beyond thrilled to now be working for them.
“This way I can add value not just to existing customers, but also help to cultivate and grow Winterhalter’s presence even further in the market. I believe my extensive experience selling all types of catering equipment is a key foundation to this new role. It enables me to take a truly holistic approach when supporting customers.
