Vertas partnered with over 400 school sites across East Anglia to ensure vulnerable children received a nutritious food parcel.

“Our dedicated frontline caterers bring our slogan ‘making the difference’ to life and produce food parcels that meet Government School Food Standards. We are strictly following the LACA guidelines in terms of both quantity and nutritional content.”
Recipe cards have been added to the food parcels to support parents and carers create nutritious lunches for their children. One food parcel contains fresh locally sourced ingredients for one child’s lunch over a period of five days.
Vertas has received positive feedback from school and families on the quality of their food parcels.
Mr Frolish, headteacher at St. Mary’s School in Hadleigh, added: “Thanks to our caterers, Vertas. They have continued to work tirelessly throughout this crisis, using our school kitchen as a base for supporting other schools.
“We have been truly grateful for the great quality, regular food hampers for our free school meal children – these hampers have a made a huge difference to the lives of many families.”
