Abstract
With veganism continuing to gain momentum across the UK, organisers are getting ready for the sixth annual VegfestUK this October (27-18) at Olympia London.

As well as an extra exhibition hall for 2018, the two-day event will feature a vegan food village; shopping area; vegan-themed cinema; art exhibition and children’s area, teaching kids how to incorporate more fruit and veg into their diets through ‘fun and informative’ cookery classes.

There will also be a number of keynote speakers throughout the weekend, including 13 year old Daniel Bissonnette (of ‘Daniel's Breakfast Burst’) and animal rights author, Carol J. Adams.

Talks will focus on specific areas from health and fitness to the environment, radical veganism and activism.

Meanwhile exhibitors will showcase the latest vegan trends and products, bringing dishes such as: Vietnamese sandwiches; American diner style eats; Caribbean patties; and vegan editions of burgers, hot dogs, mac n' cheese

Cupcakes, beers, ciders and wines. There will also be meat and dairy replacements; shoes, clothes and jewellery made without the use of animals and cosmetics.

Cooking demonstrations will take place across the weekend in addition to yoga and Qi gong sessions, comedy from vegan standup acts, and a cinema and art exhibition championing veganism.
