The five-day training course includes workshops, information about nutrition, menu planning, practical cooking sessions, and the opportunity to discover new flavours. The course includes vegan and vegetarian ingredients that can be used in a variety of meals. Chefs will learn how to maximise flavours and adapt menus to keep up with current trends.
Cookery School Manager, Sam Platt, said: “The day will include plated desserts, afternoon tea, and buffets, to really tempt in those vegan and veggie customers.”
The Vegetarian Society Cookery School has trained hundreds of professional chefs and caterers. Graduates of the diploma go on to improve and develop their range of dairy-free and egg-free options.
The course is based in Greater Manchester and attracts people from around the world. For more information visit www.vegsoccookeryschool.org
