Abstract
To celebrate fryer manufacturer, Valentine Equipment’s 60th year operating in the UK, it last week (1 February) launched a competition to find the “oldest working Valentine fryer still in daily use.”

To be in with the chance of winning a brand new TF55 table-top fryer, foodservice operators must email Valentine at info@valentinefryers.com and tell them when the fryer was bought, what it is used to cook along with their company details and a high resolution picture of the fryer.

Steve Elliott, sales director for Valentine Equipment and Cuisinequip, said: "Valentine fryers, going back to the first model the 1947 Friteuse, have been designed and built with Swiss dedication to detail, innovation and a build quality that sees many models in continuous trouble-free operation for decades.

“To mark our 60th anniversary as Valentine equipment in the UK we are searching to find the oldest working fryer that still is in daily use.

"The winner of the competition will be announced at Hotelympia and the company confirmed to have oldest fryer will receive a brand new TF55 table-top fryer to complement the grand example of their oldest working Valentine machine.”
