OnePoll statistics reveal that the typical Irish consumer drinks on average 15% more coffee than tea in a year, and buys on average three cups of coffee per week.
The majority of Irish consumers prefer certified coffees when and where possible and it seems age and taste buds are a dominant force in Irish coffee drinking habits.

Other highlights have found that latte is the popular choice for 18-24 year olds whilst 35-44 go for cappuccino and over 55’s enjoy Americano and over 55’s are the biggest consumers of coffee in restaurants and pubs.
