Abstract
Members of Unite and the RMT unions have accepted a 1.9% pay rise from the Caterers Offshore Trade Association (COTA).

The increase in salary is backdated to September of last year.

The Meal Allowance dinner element benefit has risen from £15 to £20, bringing the overall increase up to 2%, according to COTA.

The trade association represents six companies which supply catering and auxiliary services to the offshore oil and gas industry. Its members are Aramark, Entier, ESS, FOSS, Sodexo and Trinity.

An Aramark spokesperson said the company “is pleased that, following a consultative ballot, members of Unite and the RMT have accepted COTA’s 2017/2018 pay offer”.
