Abstract
Open to foodservice manufacturers and suppliers, the 2018 UK Foodservice Quality Food Awards are open for entry until 15 June.

Recognising the best food and drink products in retail, wholesale and foodservice across the country, there are nearly 100 categories available, including grab and go, cold beverages, frozen foods and seasonal occasions such as Christmas.

The submit or view the full category breakdown, visit: http://foodservice.qualityfoodawards.com/qfa2018/en/page/qfa-categories but be aware of the entry fee charge.

An independent judging panel is sure to put each entry through its paces, assessing them on a range of factors: taste, flavour, texture, aroma, ingredients, innovation, packaging, presentation and price point.

Even if their product doesn’t win, each company will receive “constructive, actionable feedback” ahead of the awards ceremony on 27 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel (London).

Foodservice Quality Food Awards publishing director, Helen Lyons, commented: “Landing an award at the Foodservice Quality Food Awards sends a clear signal to the industry – this is a product that has been scrutinised by some of the best in the business, something with a true point of difference that will get the right people – chefs, and those with purchasing power – to sit up and take notice.

“I urge anyone in foodservice that feels they are sitting on the next big innovation to enter it into the awards – the Quality mark is a true badge of honour with benefits that are far-reaching.”
