Abstract
ScotHot, which kicked off yesterday, is hosting the semi-finals and final of the UK Barista Championships 2009 – the competition to find the UK's top barista.
Having successfully competed in regional heats across the UK, the 25 semi-finalists battling it out for a place in the final include:

Held over 2 days – 2nd and 3rd March – the semi-finals will run from 10:00am to 17:00pm each day. The top 6 performers will win themselves a place in the final – on 4th March from 11:30am until 15:30pm.
The overall winner will not only be crowned UK Barista Champion 2009, but will also receive an all expenses paid trip to represent the UK in the World Barista Championships in Atlanta, USA in April – competing against over 50 countries for the much-coveted title of World Barista Champion 2009.
