UCC Coffee UK & Ireland, the coffee solution provider, has achieved a Grade AA rating in its latest British Retail Consortium audit.
Rahul Ghosh, director of roastery operations, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and validates not only our systems and procedures, but also our culture of continuous improvement.
“Our commitment to coffee excellence and quality extends across the business, from buying and roasting to grading, developing and blending.
“It’s important that our customers have confidence in our process and our product, and achieving the highest grade accreditation from the British Retail Consortium is a ringing endorsement of the site’s integrity.”
The company’s flagship roastery is based in Dartford, Kent and a £2.5 million investment to upgrade facilities was completed last year.
