Abstract
The 2024 TUCO Awards, which were announced at the Summer Conference, celebrated and recognised the efforts of individuals and teams working within TUCO member institutions.
The TUCO Summer Conference, which took place at the University of Exeter, aimed to showcase the TUCO family at its finest – supporting one another, celebrating and learning together, leaving members armed with insight from industry experts ready to implement in their institutions across the UK.
The TUCO Summer Conference brought together member institutions from all over the country for three days of learning and networking sessions. Speakers included Dr Morgaine Gaye from Imperial College London, British behaviour insight adviser Jez Rose and founder of the Burnt Chef Project Kris Hall.
The TUCO Awards went to:
- Innovation Award: Catering Team - Edge Hill University
- Rising Star Award: Lisa Mason - Ayrshire College
- Sustainability Award: King's Food - King's College London
- TUCO Member of the Year: King's College London
- TUCO Team of the Year: King's Food Team - King's College London
- Outstanding Achievement Award: Jacqui Beazley
