Abstract
The 2023 TUCO Awards, which were announced at the Summer Conference, celebrated and recognised the efforts of individuals and teams working within TUCO member institutions.
The TUCO Summer Conference, which took place at St Andrew's University, aimed to showcase the TUCO family at its finest – supporting one another, celebrating and learning together, leaving members armed with insight from industry experts ready to implement in their institutions across the UK.
The award winners, sponsored by Britvic Soft Drinks, included:
- TUCO Team of the Year: Campus Food and Drink, Queen's University Belfast
- Innovation Award: Commercial, Residential and Campus Services, University of Exeter
- Sustainability Award: Commercial Team, Cardiff Metropolitan University
- Rising Star Award: Annie Borelli, University of Kent
- TUCO Member of the Year: Residential and Business Services, University of St Andrews
- TUCO Outstanding Achievement Award: David Morton, University of Winchester
The Summer Conference featured keynote speakers such as Judy Murray, comedian Ed Gamble, entrepreneur Josh Littlejohn, global futurist Rohit Talwar and para-triathlete Karen Darke.
