Organisers are promising delegates to the 2023 annual conference will get ‘three days of networking, learning and a heavyweight exhibition that will bring a wealth of new products and innovation from TUCO’s framework suppliers’.
Monday 24th July involves a day of pre-conference activities, including a visit to the Kingsbarn Distillery and the Royal & Ancient World of Golf Museum. On the 25th the programme will begin with chair Phil Rees-Jones welcoming delegates and chief executive Mike Haslin presenting a TUCO update.
Journalist, broadcaster and commentator Will Hutton will deliver a keynote address on the theme: ‘The Structural Economic Hole We’re In and How To Get Out Of It’.
Other sessions will help delegates make their brand stand out in a crowded market when Marcel Khan looks at Brand: ‘Pop or Flop?’, or get a glimpse of what’s to come when Rohit Talwar, chief executive of Fast Future, addresses the theme: ‘What’s Next for Hospitality?’.
On the final day Geoff Ramm delivers a keynote address on ‘Serving Up Service Excellence’ before Holly Marrero-Easson, the European managing director of Green Cuisine looks at ‘What’s Eating Gen Z’. Finally, Judy Murray, mother of British tennis stars Andy and Jamie Murray, delivers a presentation on the theme ‘Developing Potential and a Champion Mindset’.
The TUCO Awards, which will be announced at a gala dinner during the annual conference, recognise and celebrate effort, improvement and achievement from all levels of staff within member institutions.
They aim to celebrate teamwork and also the individuals who might not always be standing over a stove each day, but who work hard to create an innovative catering operation that gets results and creates customer loyalty.
