Full TUCO members qualify for one free place per institution and bookings are now being taken. Phil Rees Jones, chair of TUCO, said: “TUCO are delighted to announce the postponed conference from 2020 will now take place in July 2022.
"The event will be hosted at Keele University and the whole event will take place under one roof – with only the conference plenary sessions held in the university’s adjacent auditorium. Keep an eye on the conference page for the programme, to be announced. As always, it will be a diverse mix of learning, inspiration and practical sessions.”
The TUCO Awards, which will be announced at the Summer Conference, recognise and celebrate effort, improvement and achievement from all levels of staff within our member institutions. The awards nomination deadline is Friday 27 April 2022.
The categories open in 2022 include:
- Rising Star Award
- Covid Innovation & Resilience Award
- Sustainability Award
- TUCO Team of the Year
- TUCO Member of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement Award
The TUCO Competitions event, which had been planned to run alongside the Conference & Exhibition for 2022, has been postponed as a result of ‘staff shortages in the industry’. Organisers say the 2022 Competitions event will now take place in 2023 and that all confirmed finalists that were due to compete this year will automatically be given the opportunity to compete in 2023.
