TUCO appoints Annabel Hurst as its newest board member
Abstract
TUCO has appointed a new non-executive director to its board in a move designed to ensure the continued growth and success of the organisation.

Annabel Hurst, head of catering, conferences and events at Cardiff University, will sit on the TUCO board alongside other industry experts to help support TUCO and its member organisations over the coming years.

Speaking of the appointment, Hurst said: “As a longstanding supporter of TUCO, I am thrilled to be on the board of directors, giving me the opportunity to work with other industry experts to shape the future of TUCO and continue to support its members. I’m looking forward to getting started.”

With extensive experience in the hotel, restaurant and university sectors, Hurst brings a creative and strategic approach to sustainability and operational improvement. In 2021 she was named the winner of Public Sector Catering’s University Catering Award.

Amanda Pettingill, chair of TUCO, added: “We are delighted to welcome Annabel to the board. This appointment means that the depth of skills, experience and expertise that we have on the board reflects the important role TUCO plays as an expert in the industry. We are looking forward to continuing work as Annabel joins the rest of the board members.”
