Abstract
TRG Concessions, UK food and drink travel operator, will take over catering outlets at London Southend Airport next month (June) to become the venue's lead caterer.

As well as operating and developing existing catering concessions, TRG will also introduce new concepts including a bespoke pub, The Navigator, Giraffe Stop and Costa Coffee.

Glyn Jones, chief executive at Stobart Aviation (who owns the airport), said: “We know from customer feedback that improving our food and beverage offer is the main way we can make their experience even better. So this new partnership with TRG Concessions, which will bring six new high street brands to London Southend Airport, is fantastic news for passengers."

The takeover forms part of TRG’s £5 million+ investment to develop the food and beverage offer at London Southend Airport over the next 10 years, and is expected to create a number of jobs over the coming year.

Existing outlets include Arnold & Forbes Cafe Kitchen and Lakers Bar & Restaurant, which were previously operated directly by the airport.
