Abstract
Organisers at Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2010 have unveiled details of the top chefs set to present at this year's Fine Food Forum.
2010 Masterchef winner, Dhruv Baker, Leon founder Henry Dimbleby, TV chef Rachel Green and eco-friendly restaurateur Arthur Potts Dawson will be part of the line up. This year's themes have been carefully selected to reflect the main issues facing all sectors of the foodservice industry. With consumers becoming increasingly concerned about the provenance of their food it is vital that everyone from restaurateurs, hoteliers and café owners to cost sector caterers and publicans embrace this, so seasonality, organic produce and local-sourcing will all feature prominently on the programme. 2010 Masterchef winner Dhruv Baker will be regaling the audience with his pop-up restaurant plans whilst Arthur Potts Dawson will be looking into the importance of eating in a more sustainable way. TV Chef Rachel Green will examine how to incorporate rapeseed oil into British seasonal dishes on behalf of Oleifera and Henry Dimbleby, founder of the Leon restaurant chain, will then present on the changing face of fast food. Pasquale Amico from Amico Bio will talk about organic and vegetarian Italian cuisine whilst Christina Pickard will hold a Discover the Origin Masterclass. Adam Byatt, will take to the stand with his ideas on value for money weekday offerings followed-by Paul Wayne Gregory from Paul Wayne Gregory Chocolates who will then explore ways of creating an experience of indulgence. Toby Wand, the event director at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, commented: "We are really excited about this year's Fine Food Forum Programme as we feel it is our best yet. The aim of the demonstration is to provide the audience with food for thought, giving them ideas and inspiration on how they can add that all-important point of difference to their business. Overall, the presentations will cover a really diverse range of topics affecting the whole foodservice industry, so hopefully there will be something in there for everyone." The Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2010 takes place between 5th – 7th September at Olympia in London.
