Abstract
Four Michelin-starred chefs joined forces to cook up an eight course meal at Manchester House, raising a staggering £16,000 for Hospitality Action, which provides a lifeline for current and former hospitality industry workers who find themselves in a crisis or in need.
Aiden Byrne invited friends Tom Aikens, Daniel Clifford and Michael Wignall to his city centre restaurant to raise money for the charity. It was the first time the four head chefs, who have all been awarded a star by the world-renowned Michelin guide, have cooked in the same kitchen together.
Tickets for the sold-out event cost £200 per head, with half going to the charity and an auction was held to raise additional funds on the night, with prizes including the Manchester House team cooking a meal for a dinner party for eight at the winner’s home.
