Top Chefs lend their support to Hospitality Action’s Polo Day

6th Jul 2011 - 00:00
Abstract
On Sunday 11th September, Beaufort Polo Club will host Hospitality Action’s second annual polo day.
The day will include dishes prepared by four chefs from the South West; Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park, Sam Moody of Bath Priory, Michael Croft of Calcot Manor and Martin Burge of Whatley Manor. Last year the event raised £30,000 all of which went directly towards those suffering within the hospitality industry. All attendees will enjoy a Champagne reception on the lawns of the club before a mouth-watering three-course lunch prepared by the four chefs including half a bottle of wine per person. Grandstand seats will be reserved for guests to watch The Sidebottom Cup before ending the day with a delicious afternoon cream tea. The day will be the perfect introduction to polo and is suitable for friends, family and clients. Michael Croft, Calcot Manor's chef-director said: "Our polo day in September will see great team work in aid of Hospitality Action both on and off the field. The polo teams of four players coming together for this very special one-off occasion will be echoed in the kitchen by a team of four 'high-goal' chefs pulling alongside one another also." Tickets are priced at just £90 per person or £850 for a table of 10. To secure your place contact Giuliana Vittiglio on 020 3004 5504 or at gvittiglio@hospitalityaction.org.uk
