The list, which is sponsored by City & Guilds, recognises excellence in businesses that employ apprenticeships and work hard to ensure that they become successful inspirational role models to other apprentices.
Greene King, Elior UK, Unilever UK Limited, KFC GB Ltd, River Cottage Ltd, The Seafood Restaurant and Compass Group UK & Ireland all featured on the list.
Rooney Anand, Greene King’s chief executive, said: “We are very proud to be celebrated as one of the UK’s Top 100 apprenticeship employers by the National Apprenticeship Service.

“We’re pleased to have offered more than 7,400 apprenticeships so far and look forward to continuing that commitment.”

The awards, now its 12th year, took place at Grosvenor House, London.
