Abstract
Food waste saving app Too Good To Go has announced the appointment of Sophie Trueman as managing director for UK and Ireland.
Having joined Too Good To Go in 2019, Trueman has previously been head of key accounts and more recently head of business development. During her time at the company she has been responsible for driving brand partnerships with Greggs, Pret A Manger and Starbucks.
Commenting on her new position, she said: “I’m thrilled to take on this next challenge at Too Good to Go. We’re on an incredible journey as a company and I am determined to continue this trajectory as we help even more companies save food from going to waste.”

The news was announced just before Stop Food Waste Day (Wednesday 27 April), which aims to share practical, creative and impactful ways we can all change our behaviour to minimise food waste.
