Abstract
Tevin Tobun, chief executive of GV Group (Gate Ventures), was invited to attend a special reception hosted by The Prince of Wales at Clarence House - recognising the country’s most influential black leaders.

He was joined by other notable figures including Baroness Amos, Dame Sharon White chair of the John Lewis Partnership and actor David Harewood.

The Prince of Wales made a keynote speech addressing attendees, networked with guests and spent some time speaking with Tobun about GV Group and his Tobun Foundation.

GV Group subsidiary company Platebox, supported Bidfood to deliver over 350,000 food parcels to clinically vulnerable people who needed to shield during Covid-19 enforced lockdowns.

Platebox delivers over 10 million lunches to schoolchildren across the UK annually and its sister company, Foodmove, is a key transport and logistics company that transports food and supplies for wholesalers, caterers and retailers such as restaurants, pubs, bars, and cafes.

All attendees were named in the 2022 Powerlist which honours people across a wide range of industries including business, science, technology and the arts.
