TLC Care joins forces with Neel Radia’s Cake4Kindness
Abstract
TLC Care once again partnered with not-for-profit company Cake4Kindness, which is dedicated to spreading compassion through baking.

Founded by NACC chair Neel Radia, Cake4Kindness is driven by a mission to counter loneliness and isolation among those experiencing homelessness. Through the distribution of cakes, the initiative aims to spark conversations, create connections and bring moments of joy to people who often feel invisible in society.

On #Cake4KindnessDay (Thursday 21st November) the TLC Care family across all nine of their homes united in a shared mission: to bake, decorate, and deliver cakes to those in need. These cakes were distributed to homeless charities, food banks, hospitals and community centres.

Lorna Russell, managing director at TLC Care, said: “It was an absolute pleasure for our TLC Family to come together as one team to bake over 1,300 cakes and donate them to our local homeless charities.

“We pride ourselves on working as one team to make a difference to the lives of others and we were delighted to support Cake4Kindness in their mission to reduce loneliness and isolation whilst spreading kindness. It was an incredibly special day for all and we are already looking forward to supporting again next year.”

Manor was honoured to welcome Gareth Thomas, MP for Harrow West, who joined in the Cake4Kindness initiative. He praised the initiative’s ability to reduce loneliness and isolation whilst spreading kindness through the simple act of baking.

Radia added: “We're so grateful to the entire TLC Care team, who all came together to support Cake4Kindness Day with their residents, baking over 1,300 cakes collectively and supporting our mission to donate to local homeless charities.”
