Abstract
Tilda Foodservice has continued to support charity Mary’s Meals throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, donating 198,000 meals since the partnership began in 2019.

Mary’s Meals carries out ‘life-changing work’ by providing meals for impoverished children across the world. For every 5Kg bag of wholegrain rice purchased by chefs and caterers, Tilda donates 8p to cover the cost of feeding a child through Mary’s Meals.

Annette Coggins, head of foodservice at Tilda UK, said: “We are ecstatic that despite the challenges of Covid-19, Mary’s Meals can continue the vital work that they do for children who need it most all over the world.

“We are so proud to be supporters of the critical service they provide and we want to say a big thank to our foodservice colleagues and friends for getting behind this fantastic charity, without your help this wouldn’t have been possible.

“We are incredibly humbled to be able to support Mary’s Meals in this shared vision and look forward to seeing even more meals donated in 2021.”

Tilda has also supported the charity through fundraisers including the ‘Double the Love’ campaign, which saw Tilda double their pledge.
