It comes as company-led research showed that caterers can ‘command a higher price tag’ for dishes made using speciality rice (such as jasmine, Arborio or basmati and wild) – with 43% of consumers prepared to pay ‘up to’ £2 more for a dish that names the rice.
Tilda is hosting daily competitions on Twitter this week, giving caterers the chancfe to win its speciality rice and Love2Shop vouchers.
