Ticco Foods appoints new food innovation and development manager

Foodservice group TICCO Foods Limited has announced the appointment of former Burger King executive Joanne Richardson as its new food innovation and development manager.

Richardson will play a central role in expanding the company's portfolio of premium food products across bakery and morning goods, speciality breads, desserts and ice cream, plus delicatessen, appetisers, savouries and main meals including cured meats, pasties, filled pasta and pizza.

Richardson brings a wealth of experience in food innovation, built over 17 years in the foodservice industry, and most recently during seven years at Burger King in her role as innovation and commercialisation manager across the EMEA region. Prior to that, she worked as new product development manager at British Pepper & Spice Co Ltd and senior product development technologist at Kerry Foods.

Founded in 1994, TICCO Foods supplies a range of, innovative and bespoke world foods to hundreds of wholesalers, independents and national groups in the restaurant, hotel, pub, travel and leisure sectors across the UK and Ireland.
