Abstract
Over 95% of British workers have access to a cup of coffee in the workplace, according to new research from provider rijo42.

In addition, over a third (37%) of workers had access to a coffee machine to provide café-quality beverages on demand throughout the working day.

Sean Griffin, sales director at rijo42, said: “It’s not surprising that such a huge number of employers are investing in quality coffee for their employees.

"The growth of coffee house chains, availability of new blends and the revolutions in home coffee market over the last decade all add up to customers being keener on coffee than ever before.”

The research also found that almost a third of workers (31%) drink at least five cups of coffee a day, with 11% drinking more than five.

Vending machines remained the top spot for a coffee with a fifth (20%) of businesses having at least one in the office, whilst 8% use a bean-to-cup machine and 9% use coffee pod machine.
