The new site extends its reach beyond operators to incorporate cash & carry and wholesale outlets, suggesting must-stock procusts and providing recommendations on category and ranging, which advises how best to display Tetley products in depot to maximise on-shelf stand-out and increase profitability.
New functionality includes e-commerce capability, which lists detailed product information and allows users to search and easily purchase the extensive Tetley Tea range. Users can also purchase branded serving wear, and order free POS and display equipment to market their tea offering in outlet.
Users are advised on how to maximise profitability via their tea offering, with a dedicated section on best practice. This highlights ways in which operators can upsell their tea offering, including advice on suitable POS and promotional materials available to Tetley Tea stockists.
In addition, the brand advises outlets on day parting, perfecting their on-the-go and take-away proposition and offers insight into the health benefits associated with tea consumption, as well as hints and tips on serving and personalisation, to ensure operators deliver the best possible service to their customers.
With a dedicated section looking at the relationship between tea and food, Tetley has paired with Lee Maycock, Vice President of the Craft Guild of Chefs, to create a series of recipes based on current food trends that perfectly complement a number of products within the Tetley range.
These include a tea smoked chicken broth paired with Tetley Green Tea and quirky breakfast recipes, such as a chilli and avocado breakfast pot; a perfect match for Tetley English Breakfast Tea.
Isabelle Haynes, Senior Brand Manager – Out of Home at Tetley comments; “We’re delighted to unveil our latest customer tool in the shape of the new and improved Tetley Tea Academy, which we hope will deliver insight and advice to our traditional audience of caterers, as well as cash and carry and wholesale operators.
“We’re keen for the Tetley Tea Academy to be used by all – from trade media to tea buyers and especially front line service operators.”
The website, which is optimised for mobile use, can be found by visiting www.tetleyteaacademy.co.uk and compliments Tetley’s existing communications platforms for operators, which include a monthly blog, newsletter and dedicated twitter feed - @TetleyTeaOOH
