Tetley, the beverage manufacturer, is releasing a 40-second television advert over the festive period to mark the start of a £13m marketing campaign, which aims to position Tetley as the top investor in marketing of all tea brands.
Senior Brand Manager - OOH, Isabelle Haynes said: “Investing in ATL helps to drive awareness of the Tetley brand within all channels and ensure that it is top of mind whether consumers are shopping in retail of looking for tea solutions when out of home.
“Tetley research has shown that consumers want their tea to taste exactly the same out of home as it does when they make it themselves. Therefore, caterers can maximise sales by choosing a recognised brand such as Tetley.”
The new advert finds the Tetley characters in a medieval setting, oblivious to the battle that surrounds them, which is soon fixed by a cup of tea. The theme will be reflected in a range of other marketing initiative, such as a full social media programme.
