Having launched in 2012, the Diamond Standards Awards are arranged by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, Teflon and Chemours, and are managed by The Bournemouth & Poole College.
12 finalists will be invited to cook in a live final at the Waitrose Cookery School (London) in January 2019, which judges (including Lesley Waters) will decide from online submissions.
Prizes include a three-year chefs scholarship at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and Bournemouth & Poole College, as well as a weekend in Dorset for two people, courtesy of Waters.
