Machowetz joins Standex with responsibility for the company’s food retailing customer base, including supermarkets and convenience stores.
She is also tasked with the management of relationships with food service customers and overseeing Standex FSE’s UK distributor network, as well as identifying new markets for the company’s range of food service equipment, which includes the market leading brands of APW Wyott, BevLes and BKI.
Machowetz has spent four and a half years with combi oven manufacturer, Rational, where she built and led a diverse global key account sales team. More recently, she was sales director with light food service equipment manufacturer Mitchell & Cooper. Previously, she spent nearly four years in nutrition research, whilst at the German Institute of Human Nutrition.
Standex FSE’s director, Dan Lyvers, stated: “Anja brings to the company a wealth of industry expertise, which will allow us to continue to build on our strong relationships within the food retailing business and help us develop new opportunities in the food service sector.”
